"No work of art is ever really finished. They only stop at good places."

Nancy J. Davis

I was raised on a cattle ranch on the northeastern plains of New Mexico where the light is spectacular and the horizon is forever.  I paint under these New Mexico skies and in my Albuquerque studio. My work is representational and my focus is rich color with expressive brushstrokes.

My painting time with these enthusiastic, accomplished Plein Air Friends is an important path to my growth as an artist.  The days I spend outdoors painting with them are the best times!  We work hard and paint in almost any weather and I am always elevated by the experience.  What could be better than to spend time doing your favorite thing with supportive friends that you admire?
